Installation labor guarantee




Twin Cities Auto Spot offers a guarantee on all of our installation labor (unless specified otherwise). Please read below for details. 
 

- For Customer supplied products, we offer a 1 year labor guarantee. If your product becomes defective at any point, there will be labor charges to remove the product from your vehicle. You will be responsible to contact the original seller, and arrange a replacement, with shipping costs at your expense. Once your repaired or replaced product is returned to you, there will be installation charges to reinstall it back into your vehicle.

- For Products purchased from TC Auto Spot, we offer a LIFETIME labor guarantee. If your product becomes defective at any point, there will be NO labor charges to remove the product from your vehicle. If possible, an "over-the-counter" exchange will be granted, otherwise WE will take care of the shipping charges (unless specified) to send the defective product back to the manufacturer. There will be NO labor charges to reinstall the new product back into your vehicle.

Appointment Deposits




In order to ensure our appointment book operates at an optimal level, in certain situations Twin Cities Auto Spot will require a deposit, to hold your appointment spot.
 
 
 
Why?
Prior to this policy, we had a problem with a handful of clients booking appointments, and not showing up at their scheduled time. When we set a part of our day aside for a job, and the car doesn't come in... We have an empty spot in our install bay, that could have been used for another client. This is very costly to the business. When a deposit is paid, it dramatically decreases "no-shows". This allows us to run more efficiently, and keep our prices down. Everyone wins!

When?

We do not always require a deposit to hold an appointment. When do we?

- If we are doing an installation for you, where you purchased your products from someplace other than TC Auto Spot, we require a deposit.

- Regardless where your products are purchased from, if you "no-call, no-show" to a scheduled appointment, we will require a deposit to hold a second appointment spot for you.

- In our peak season, (September-February) all appointments require a deposit.
 

How?
You can make a deposit 3 different ways.

- In person, we accept cash, credit or check.
- Over the phone, we can take a credit card number.
- Or online, we can send you a paypal invoice. This can be paid with any major credit card, or your paypal account. (no paypal account is needed to pay via credit card)

Details

- For each hour the job takes, $25 for a deposit is required.
- Once the deposit is paid, your appointment spot will be saved for you. If it is not paid, it wont be saved.
- Your deposit will be credited 100% towards your invoice, unless you "no-show" to your appointment. At that point the deposit will be forefited, to cover the shops losses. If you have to cancel, or reschedule your appointment, we need a minimum of 24 hours notice. At that point, your deposit will either be refunded, or applied towards your rescheduled appointment.
- If you arrive for your appointment more than 20 minutes late, you may lose your appointment spot and/or deposit (or partial deposit)

Special Order Parts Deposits




Sometimes we need to order a product for a client, that we normally dont keep in stock. Since we are specially ordering this product for a specific client, we require a partial deposit to get it headed our way.
 
Why?
Prior to this policy, we had a problem occasionally where we would order a product for a client, and they would never actually come to have the product installed in their vehicle. This means we have a product sitting on our shelf, that we normally don't keep in stock. This is very costly to the business. When we get a partial deposit prior to ordering a special order product, we know our client is serious and will follow through on their end of the deal.

How?
You can make a deposit 3 different ways.

Details

- All special order parts require a deposit of 50% of the sale price.
- Your deposit will go 100% towards your invoice.

Customer Supplied Products




Twin Cities Auto Spot will gladly install your products, even if they were not purchased from us. We do have a few things to note, please read.
 
 

- If you bring in a product for us to install, and during the installation it becomes evident to us that your product is A) Not compatible with your vehicle or system, B) Not functioning properly or C) Missing parts, you will be charged for our time, at the shop's hourly rate.
- If we install a product not purchased from us, and at a later date after the install, the product becomes defective... If you need us to remove it from your vehicle, so you can send it back to the seller, there will be labor charges to do so. If you need us to reinstall it when you get it back from the seller, there will be labor charges to do so.
